Installing from the console

The standard installer can be run from a text-based console, such as a SSH terminal without a graphical interface. Run the installer with the following command:

java -jar symmetric-pro-X.Y.Z-setup.jar -console

The user is prompted to enter the same information that the graphical version would ask. Most options are selected by entering the number next to them. Default values are displayed in square brackets and can be accepted by pressing the enter button.
